The Goodness of Grass-Fed Cow’s Milk

  • Science of Ingredients

Milk is a natural source of numerous essential nutrients, and it’s one of the important foods needed in ensuring a balanced diet which helps contribute to maintaining overall health. It provides high-quality protein, calcium with excellent bioavailability, phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin (vitamin B2), and vitamin B12.

In New Zealand, dairy cows are predominantly grass-fed2, which makes a significant difference. Grazing on lush pastures under sunlight not only supports the cows’ well-being but also enhances the quality of their milk. Grass-fed cows produce milk with higher concentrations of naturally occurring vitamin D3 (thanks to outdoor sunlight exposure), β-carotene, and vitamin E. Their milk also boasts higher omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid 3 ratio compared to milk from cows raised indoors and fed grains or other mixed rations.

At Anlene, we proudly use milk from New Zealand’s grass-fed cows, ensuring the natural goodness are captured in every glass.
